We’ve rolled out a big round of improvements across GrootMade and GrootMade Connect, and a lot of things are now cleaner, smoother, and easier to use.
What’s new
New forum structure
We’ve reorganized the forum to make everything easier to browse and easier to understand at a glance. The goal is simple: less clutter, clearer categories, and a better place for both support and discovery.
That means there is no longer one general product category. Support topics are now organized more clearly under categories like Themes, Plugins, and Template Kits.
New Arrivals subforum
We’ve added a New Arrivals subforum, just like we had with Festinger Vault, so you can easily keep track of newly added themes, plugins, template kits, and updated items without having to dig through everything manually.
New homepage
We’ve launched a new homepage with a cleaner layout and a better overview of what matters most. It should now feel a lot easier to navigate and a lot more useful as a starting point.
New Bugs subforum
We’ve also added a dedicated Bugs subforum.
If you run into something broken, glitchy, or just not working as expected, please post it there so we can keep bug reports organized and easier to track. This helps us fix issues faster and helps other users find known problems more easily too.
New Daily Buzz category
We’ve also added The Daily Buzz, a new category for gossip, trends, updates, and all the random interesting stuff people are talking about. It’s the place for more casual conversations, viral moments, community chatter, and topics that do not neatly fit elsewhere.
Live chat is now enabled
Live chat is now enabled for all users. So if you want a quicker way to reach out, ask something, or get unstuck, that option is now available.
Updated browse pages and filters
We’ve improved the browse pages and filters to make finding the right items faster and less frustrating. Browsing should now feel a lot more practical, especially if you’re searching through a lot of content.
Sidebar is back
We’ve re-introduced the sidebar with better navigation, so getting around the platform should feel much smoother now. Less clicking around blindly, more actually finding what you need.
Fixes
Update notifications are fixed
Issues with update notifications have been fixed, so they should now behave more reliably and show up as expected.
Update request modal and linked Discourse topic are fixed
The update request modal and the linked Discourse topic flow have been fixed as well, so submitting and following update requests should now work properly again.
Login issues are fixed
We’ve also fixed the recent login issues. Signing in should now be much smoother and more reliable.
We’ll keep refining things, but this is already a big step toward making the whole experience cleaner, faster, and easier to use. Let us know what you think and, as always, if something feels off, confusing, or broken, tell us. The forum got a cleanup, not a personality transplant.
