Hello everyone,
Glad to officially be here.
And to the familiar faces from other forums who are already part of GrootMade too, it’s good to see you again.
A lot of what I’ve learned over the years came from being active in online communities. Those spaces teach you a lot, not just about business, but about people, trust, standards, and how quickly a place can lose itself when the wrong things start getting rewarded.
That’s a big part of why joining GrootMade feels right to me.
I’m stepping in as admin, and a lot of my focus will be on expanding the documentation, making things clearer, and writing blogs about the things people usually leave unsaid. Not recycled advice, but the parts behind the scenes. The patterns, the politics, the reputations, and the gap between what communities look like from the outside and what they really become over time.
That also includes writing about places like Office Outlaw, including the Platinum Saloon side of it; the kind of closed corner of the internet where a lot happens behind the curtain.
I’m happy to be here, happy to see familiar names, and looking forward to building something solid together.
This is just the beginning.
Tomorrow, April 2, our first big update drops: something that’s good for the platform, good for the people building with us, and probably not such great news for the haters.
